General Benefits

MBRC membership provides access to all of the club's programs including regular group riding opportunities.  Members can choose between the "Sport Ride" or the "Sportif Ride".  The Sport Ride is targeted towards intermediate level road riding abilities while the Sportif Ride is geared to those fast recreational riders who want a higher tempo ride.

Members have access to team clothing at favourable prices.  Items can be pre-ordered in the spring and limited inventories are available mid-season.

Liability Insurance Coverage

Membership includes the Ontario Cycling (OC) comprehensive liability insurance coverage.  It provides coverage of possible legal costs and settlements arising out of participation in club activities.

The cost of a membership DOES NOT include the mandatory Ontario Cycling membership

1 OC membership is included in all racing licenses, or it can be obtained with an OC Community Membership $50.09 ($45.00+$4.50 Processing Fee+ $0.59 HST).

NOTE: If you already have a Cycling Canada issued license, or a Ontario Cycling membership you will not be required to purchase it again.

Mississauga Bicycling Racing Club uses CCNBikes.com as a portal for joining our club as do many OC affiliated clubs, please follow these steps.

  1. Please email info@mbrc.org to obtain a registration Pass Code.

  2. Go to the MBRC.org-Stickerbeat.com registration page on CCNBikes

  3. If you are a new user to CCNBikes.com, you can sign up as a new user.

  4. Please log into the account which holds your Ontario Cycling License or Membership.

  5. Enter the registration Pass Code when prompted. You will be stepped through the process to join MBRC.org - Stickerbeat.com

  6. The final step eTransfer ($35 for adult membership) to money@mbrc.org

Ride Policies

  • All participants must be club members
  • Riders must have completed an OCA/CCA waiver and purchased insurance
  • All participants must wear a helmet
  • Riders who intend to turn back early must advise the ride leader
  • Every club member has a “duty of care” to every other member
  • It is every members responsibility to ensure their fellow rider is taken care of
